One way to save money is to have a Pedicure Party. someone you know has a hot wax machine, a Dr. Scholls foot massager, cottonballs, nail files, pumice stones and lotion. everyone brings what they have and a group of friends gets together and have a Pedicure party, saves money and you get to have fun with your girlfriends and get a really cheap pedicure or manicure, whichever one you want. saw this on one of the cable channels.
also when going to the movies, the cheapest time to go is during the weekend at AMC theaters. the first showings on friday, saturday and sunday are $5.00. this is really the best time to go, the theater is clean, not many people, the popcorn is really fresh and hot. the $5.00 applies to all movies except I-MAX.
a neat way to save money is the $5.00 bill program. everytime you get a $5.00 bill you save it. place it in a box , can or a designated place. the key to this is to go to the bank on payday and get some cash out to use for buying gas, going out to eat r to the store. when u get a $5.00 in change keep it. the $5.00 bills can add up pretty fast. from dec. -june, i have saved $475.00. another thing with this is u always have cash in the house, if you need it.
